UClick just opened an online superstore to sell games for the PC and mobile as spotted on this site. UClickGames.com offers a wide variety of games that one may download and try for free before purchasing. This Kansas-City based company unveiled the new site at the Casual Connect Conference held in Seattle.

They are vying to be the best one-stop-shop for those looking for the complete casual gaming experience. They’re also trying to build their content and distribute these titles broadly.

Indian Outsourcing Firm Sets Up Casual Game Studio

Here’s another developer to watch out for. ChaYoWo is looking at hiring about a hundred staff by December of this year, according to Developmag.com. They’ve splurged on their facilities with state-of-the-art technology just to make sure that their staff will be productive by including areas where they can just hang out and let their creative (and cognitive) juices flow.

Initially, they will be servicing clients from the US and Europe. They’ve already signed a deal with two casual gaming firms to start with their roster.

Ubisoft Casual Games Q1 Sales Jump

ubisoft logoI wonder what it feels like to have your company’s Q1 sales amounting to $86M? A growth of 33% compared to the previous year, according to this site. And this was courtesy of titles such as Imagine Babyz (DS), the Petz and MyCoach series which was released under Ubisoft’s Games for Everyone casual gaming brand.

The company intents to release more casual titles for the DS and Wii in the next quarter.
