ZapakWorld Claims to be the World’s Largest Casual Games Site

by Aiza on August 10th, 2008

ZapakWorld LogoIndia-based Zapak, Reliance ADA Groups online just launched a gaming company named ZapakWorld, that boasts of being the largest casual gaming site in the world. According to this site, it currently has 12,236 games under their wing. So how did they do it?

They’re actually aggregating games that can may be embedded from other sites, just like what Facebook or Myspace is doing. If a developer doesn’t want to be featured, a link will just be found in place of the encapsulated game.

The web aggregator is also looking at the content model of last.fm which uses consumer/member preferences and compare it with others. This way, people in the community are the ones suggesting the content. One may also see this model from amazon.com.
