NBA Street Online Philippine Partner Named

Along with EA’s long-term goal to provide the perfect casual gaming experience to their players, comes NBA Street Online.  It’s the first NBA MMOG, by Korean developers Neowiz Games and EA Canada.  And EA just inked a deal with X-Play to publish it, their Philippine partner.

Emergent’s Gamebryo Casual to Aid in Casual Game Development

Emergent Game Technologies, a middleware developer for games, just announced a low-cost license of their game engine, Gamebryo, especially targeted for casual game developers.  As spotted in Businesswire.com, the helmed Gamebryo Casual, has the same, powerful production software and design tools used by big budgeted titles.

Down with Illegal File Sharers, Says Game Publishers

Game publishers in the UK are declaring an all-out war against illegal file sharers, according to this article. Well they should.  Imagine that there are about 25,000 Brits allegedly sharing and downloading games illegally.  And there’s even one that was fined £16,000 for illegally downloading Dream Pinball 3D from a file sharing website just this week.
