Rock Band 2 Plus New Online Offerings
Harmonix CEO and co-founder Alex Rigopulos told Associated Press that this game is going to be much, much different. The original game has focused on innovation, giving non-musicians a chance to be their own rock stars at home. This time around, the sequel and the new online modes are looking at perfecting the gaming experience. Ooh, that’s definitely something to look forward to.
According to this article, the game is slated for a release on the Xbox 360 on September. Then later, they are going come out with version for the PS3, PS2 and the Wii.
The greatest feature of the new title is also the one that was most requested by their fans. The CEO is proud to announce that the old songs that you bought for your original Rock Band may now be automatically included into your playlist. Really something to rejoice about.
Not to mention the 2nd generation peripherals is also something the players should be excited for.
Unfortunately, the game has no price tag as of time of writing. But no worries, more details on the game will be divulged on the upcoming E3 summit in July.
MTV co-produced the title and its franchise.

Am I the only one who thinks that part 2 is just the same stuff? Since the DLC would work for both games, then what is the point other than highway robbery?
